China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), participating in building the Phase II of Line 8 of Shenzhen Metro in Guangdong Province, has ushered in completion acceptance of thPhase II by local operators.
Constructors from CREC4 Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd greeted the successful completion acceptance on November 29, 2023 by government departments, Shenzhen Metro Group, and multiple other units including survey, design, supervision and construction.
The Phase II of Line 8 starts from Yantian Road Station, which is the end of Phase I of Line 8 under construction, and ends at Xiaomeisha Station in Yantian District, with a reservation of extending to Xichong in the future. With four stations, the Phase II of Line 8 extends for some 8 kilometers underground. The CREC4 Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd is mainly in charge of building the track project of the Phase II of Line 8, with a total length of 15.82 kilometers for track laying.
Upon completion, the Phase II Project of Shenzhen Metro Line 8 will connect with Phase Phase III of Line 2 as well as Phase I of Line 8. By then, the total length of Shenzhen Metro lines will reach 555 kilometers.
The Phase II Project of Shenzhen Metro Line 8 will not only help perfect the city’s metro network, but also serve the commuter passenger flow in Luohu and Yantian districts, in addition to boosting the fast progress of eastern Shenzhen as well as Yantian’s cultural and tourism industries.
