Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4), has met in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, with local top business executives, conducting in-depth business exchanges and reaching consensus on deepening bilateral cooperation.

In a meeting on October 24 with Zhou Guiheng, general manager and vice-chairman of Henan Water Conservancy Investment Group Co., Ltd, Liu briefed Zhou on CREC4’s overall development, strategies and business structure in recent years. While focusing on the transport infrastructure market by centering on railways, highways, urban rail transit and housing construction, CREC4 has actively expanded and developed the ecological and environmental protection market by focusing on water environmental protection and environmental governance, in addition to the second-curve business of water conservancy and hydropower, thus accumulating rich construction experience and business performance. Liu noted that CREC4 will fully leverage its advantages in investment and resources allocation in the whole industry chain, actively take part in the construction of water conservancy infrastructure in Henan, and jointly promote the high-quality development of water conservancy in the province.

While welcoming Liu and his entourage for the visit, Zhou lauded CREC4’s achievements, noting that with a business scope covering the entire chain of “survey, design, investment, construction and operation” in the water conservancy industry, his group has expanded from being a single water conservancy investment platform in the past, into an “investment platform for major water conservancy projects, an operation platform for water assets, an integrated platform for water resources and an innovation platform for water control technology.” He hoped that both parties can leverage each other’s advantages, innovate cooperation models, and launch more comprehensive, pragmatic and in-depth cooperation by focusing on basic water conservancy construction, urban and rural water affairs, pumped storage and other water conservancy affairs, as well as other resources development, water-related technology, and overseas water affairs. This will help usher in mutual benefit and win-win progress, he said.
In his meeting on October 21 with Yue Guoyong, Party secretary and chairman of Henan Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd, Liu extended his thanks to Yue’s group for its long-term support to CREC4. While noting that there are broad prospects for railway construction in Henan, Liu stressed that CREC4 pays vital attention to railway market in Henan, hoping that both sides can conduct bilateral cooperation in such fields as railway construction, operation, comprehensive development of stations and related areas, logistics and trade, in a bid to achieve mutual benefit and win-win progress.
