On September 20, 2023, the Communist Party of China (CPC) Committee at China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4) hosted a Party-building themed activity at its project in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, by joining hands with the CPC Committee at Xuzhou Metro Group.

The joint event, themed “Joint Efforts Turn the Party Flag More Radiant, While the Beautiful Subway Make Xuzhou Brighter,” was launched at the CREC4 construction site at the No SGTJ6112 Bid of Xuzhou Metro, drawing some 150 participants from all sides.
The SGTJ6112 Bid project, located in Tongshan District, is a two-storey covered building for the rolling stock depot, with a total area of some 222,000 square meters. The project includes comprehensive building, operation warehouses, maintenance warehouses, materials general warehouse, engineering garage, washing garage, hybrid electricity substation, sewage treatment station, battery rooms, special items warehouse, online monitoring room, and auxiliary rooms. As a key component of Xuzhou Metro Line 6, the project will be of vital importance in helping elevate the transport network of Xuzhou’s rail transit and expanding the urban space for this prefecture-level city.

Zhu Mingyong, Party secretary of CREC4 and chairman of Xuzhou Metro Group, called on his participating staffers to give into full play of the leading role of the participating CPC Party members and the CPC sub-branches, in a bid to create a driving force in safeguarding the high-quality construction of Xuzhou Metro project.
Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of CREC4, noted that Xuzhou Metro Line 6 is a major public well-being in the prefecture-level city of Xuzhou, which helps to improve the transport network of Xuzhou’s rail transit and expand its urban space, and CREC4’s construction is in its final stage. He called on the participating CREC4 staffers to enhance management quality, keep close track of the work progress and give into full of Party building work, so as to usher in a perfect project.

During the launch event, three CPC sub-branches at Xuzhou Metro Group’s Infrastructure Engineering Co., Ltd and CREC4’s CPC sub-committee at the SGTJ6112 Bid Project inked an agreement to jointly promote their Party building work. Leaders from both sides also visited the participating staff from both parties, and sent their greetings to them.
