Han Yonggang, general manager of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd, has met with a senior executive from Wuxi Communications Industry Group Co., Ltd (WXCIG) in Jiangsu Province, conducting in-depth exchanges and reaching major consensus.
In his meeting on August 14, 2023 with Xu Qingkai, deputy Party secretary and vice-president of WXCIG who is presiding over the management work, Han discussed with him bilateral cooperation in such spheres as key transport infrastructure investment, construction and financing, as well as urban reconstruction, and industrial development. Geng Jin, CREC4 Business Manager and chief of CREC4 East China Regional Operations Command, and officials from CREC4 Southern Jiangsu Regional Operations Center and CREC4 Second Engineering Co., Ltd also attended the talks.
Han noted that CREC4 has undertaken a number of projects at home and abroad known for their high-requirement, precision, cutting-edge qualities in recent years, and is striving to build the company into an engineering contractor in transport infrastructure, and urban construction, which is a domestically first-class, and internationally renowned enterprise and an industrial leader, so as to achieve high-quality development. He hoped that both parties can continue leveraging their own advantages, and forge long-term cooperation, in a bid to bolster partnership in more fields, and set up a model of “ cooperation between centrally-administered and locally-owned enterprises” in prefecture-level Wuxi.
While welcoming Han and his entourage for the visit, Xu stressed that as the main construction entity in the transport sphere in Wuxi, WXCIG has expanded its business scope to cover key transport infrastructure investment, construction and financing, large-scale development of the aviation industry, intelligent transport and industrial supply chain. He hoped that based on existing good partnership, both sides can actively explore new cooperation models, and launch in-depth and pragmatic cooperation in wider fields and at higher levels, so as to jointly achieve win-win progress.
Meanwhile, Han also conducted a field research at a CREC4 construction in Wuxi on August 14.
While paying a visit to the CREC4 Project Department for the No 6 Bid of Wuxi Metro Line 5, Han listened to related work reports and lauded the department’s achievement in its construction work. He also called the CREC4 builders to pay attention to four areas of work. First, vigorously expanding the application of intelligent technology and enhancing the high standard construction of projects. Secondly, fully solidifying the building of a big business management system and strengthening the cultivation of more talent. Thirdly, bolstering work-safety control, and safeguarding the orderly and controllable progress of safe construction. And fourthly, strictly controlling the quality of the metro project, so as to usher in a gem project and realize business expansion in Wuxi.
