Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), has met in Hefei with senior guests from Shenyang-headquartered CREC9, aiming to boost bilateral cooperation.
Accompanied by Zhu Xiaoyong, a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Committee at CREC4, deputy general manager and chief economist of CREC4, and chief of CREC4 South China Regional Operations Command, Liu met on August 14, 2023 with CREC9 General Manager Zhang Liansheng, Wu Hongyan, chief accountant, chief legal advisor and chief compliance officer of CREC9, and Liu Junfeng, deputy general-manager and chief economist of CREC9, who were on an exchange visit to the CREC4 headquarters.
While briefing the guests on CREC4’s business development, business management, as well as construction and production, Liu noted that since the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), CREC4 has been participating in a number of iconic as well as influential projects known for their high-requirement, precision, cutting-edge and unique qualities and innovation, such as the Jiaozhou Bay Second Tunnel which is the world’s largest submarine tunnel, and the Xihoumen Highway and Railway Bridge on the Ningbo-Zhoushan high-speed railway, by serving the national strategy and implementing the strategic deployment of “letting transport empower the country.” Meanwhile, it also forged a new format for big business management and optimized its construction and production organization mode to let “everything go to the projects.” During the past two years, CREC4 has obtained a group of high honors, including eight Lu Ban Awards, three Zhan Tianyou Awards, 21 National Awards for Excellency , and seven Li Chun Awards.
While expressing his gratitude to CREC4 for its long-term help and support, Zhang hoped that both parties can strengthen communication and exchanges, and steadily bolster bilateral cooperation in market management and project construction, so as to give into full play each other’s complementary advantages and usher in joint development.
