China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wanxin Media, also known as Anhui Xinhua Distribution (Group) Holding Co., Ltd, in a bid to deepen bilateral cooperative ties in an all-around way.
The signing ceremony on August 8 in Hefei, Anhui Province, drew the participation of Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of CREC4, Yang Hui, a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Committee at CREC4 and deputy general manager of CREC4, Jin Tao, Party secretary, chairman and general manager of Wanxin Media, and some other Wanxin Media leaders including Cheng Chunlei, Guo Hongbin, Xiao Jinhe and Zhang Kewen. Officials from CREC4 general office, CREC4 Anhui Regional Operations Command and CREC4 Construction Engineering Co, as well as officials from relevant Wanxin Media departments also attended the ceremony at Wanxin Media.
While briefing the participants of the signing ceremony on CREC4’s overall situation, Liu Bo noted that as a landmark unit of the centrally-administered China Railway Group Limited — a World Top 500 enterprise, CREC4 is one of the country’s few construction enterprises and the sole Anhui-based construction company with the top qualification of “Four Specialties Grades and Seven Grade-A Certificates.” As an Anhui-based centrally-administered State-owned enterprise, CREC4 has in recent years been actively integrating into the national major strategies and the main functional areas strategy, with a responsibility of aiding the high-quality development in Anhui, and taking practical actions to assist its high-quality development with an aim to be based on Anhui, serve Anhui and contribute to Anhui.
Wanxin Media is officially established in November 2007 on the basis of the former Anhui Xinhua Distribution Group. Under the direct leadership of the Publicity Department of Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wanxin Media is mainly engaged in industrial project development, investment, management, domestic and foreign investment, real estate development, property and hotel management.
Jin Tao hoped that based on the current strategic agreement, both sides can seize market opportunities in such spheres as public cultural services, cultural and tourism integration, and urban reconstruction, in a bid to forge long-term comprehensive strategic cooperation ties, with an aim to give into full play each other’s advantages, and usher in mutual benefit and joint progress.
Aiming to strengthen and expand State-owned capital and boost the better development of State-owned enterprises, the strategic agreement will allow both parties to fully leverage their respective advantages in industry reputation, market operation and regional resources, and launch long-term comprehensive strategic cooperation in areas of enterprise Party building, ideological and political work, corporate culture construction, talent training and exchange, public cultural services, cultural and tourism integration and urban reconstruction.
