China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huadu District People’s Government under Guangzhou, provincial capital of South China’s Guangdong Province, aiming to deepen bilateral cooperative ties.
The signing ceremony on August 8 in Huadu drew the participation of Xing Xiang, secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Huadu District Committee, Zheng Zhongmin, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Huadu District Committee, director of the United Front Work Department of CPC Huadu District Committee and chief of the Administrative Committee of Huadu Economic Development Zone, Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of CREC4, Han Yonggang, general manager of CREC4, Zhu Xiaoyong, deputy general manager and chief economist of CREC4, and chief of CREC4 South China Regional Operations Command, as well as Zhang Jun, assistant general-manager of CREC4 and director of CREC4 Investment and Development Department.
While briefing the participants of the signing ceremony on CREC4’s overall situation, Liu Bo noted that CREC4 is a large construction enterprise with comprehensive construction capacities. It is one of the country’s few construction enterprises and the sole Anhui-based construction company with the top qualification of “Four Specialties Grades and Seven Grade-A Certificates,” he said, adding that for the past three years, CREC4 has netted in a newly-signed contract value of over 200 billion yuan ($29.8 billion) and a business income of over 100 billion yuan each year.
While offering his sincere thanks to CPC Huadu District Committee and Huadu District Government for their long-term support to CREC4, Han Yonggang hoped that the current agreement can help promote both parties’ resource sharing, boost the cooperative projects to a higher level and in more spheres, so as usher in a new situation of mutual benefit and win-win progress for both sides.
Xing stressed that as an advanced manufacturing industry base in Guangzhou, Huadu District is a core fulcrum for the cooperation and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. She hoped that based on the agreement, CREC4 can fully participate in helping build Huadu into “an international air and rail transport hub, a high-end intelligent manufacturing base, an innovative and dynamic metropolitan area, as well as a green and livable flower city” in the future.
It has been learned that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement is a major achievement of strategic cooperation between CREC4 and Huadu District People’s Government, which will be of vital importance for both parties in bolstering their comprehensive strategic cooperative ties and stimulating coordinated development. Meanwhile, it also signifies the marked progress in the strategy adjustment of CREC4 in productive force layout, which will help lay a solid foundation in promoting CREC4’s steps in constructing a “superior engineering group.”
