Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), has conducted a series of business activities in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province in Central China, meeting local government official and top business executives in a bid to enhance bilateral ties.
Li Meng, deputy general manager of CREC4 and chief of CREC4 Southwestern China Regional Operations Command, and other officials from CREC4 Southwestern China Regional Operations Command, CREC4 First Engineering Co., Ltd, CREC4 Fifth Engineering Co., Ltd and CREC4 Construction Engineering Co accompanied Liu in his meetings during July 20 and 21.
While meeting on July 20 with Sheng Hua, general manager of Wuhan Urban Construction Investment & Development Group Co., Ltd (WUCI&D), Liu hoped that both parties can share information, and leverage their complementary advantages, so as to realize mutually-beneficial cooperation between centrally-administered and local State-owned enterprises, and jointly usher in high-quality development.
While welcoming Liu and his entourage, Sheng stressed that as a landmark unit of the centrally-administered China Railway Group Limited — a World Top 500 enterprise, CREC4 has many outstanding advantages and technological reserves. Sheng hoped that both sides can enhance communication and docking, and speed up pragmatic cooperation in the spheres of urban reconstruction and transport construction.
Also on July 20, Liu met with Shu Guichuan, government chief of Jiangxia District in Wuhan, who is also deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangxia District Committee. Liu stressed that CREC4 is willing to give full play to its advantages, and deeply take part in major projects in such fields as urban and rural coordinated development, and urban modern industrial integration, in a bid to make contributions to the construction of Jiangxia District.
While welcoming Liu and his entourage, Shu stressed that as a pioneering force of CREC, CREC4 has strong comprehensive strength and remarkable advantages in the development of the whole industrial chain. CREC4 is welcome to deeply participate in Jiangxia’s city development and economic progress, he said, hoping that both parties can bolster communication and cooperation, so as to boost the coordinated ties into real projects and usher in real benefits.
And on July 21, Liu met with Gao Bihua, Party secretary and chairman of Jianghan Water Network Construction and Development Co., Ltd under China South-to-North Water Diversion Corporation Ltd.
Liu noted that China South-to-North Water Diversion is a large State-owned backbone enterprise relevant to the national water-resource security and the lifeline of the national economy. He hoped that CREC4 can solidify cooperation with the group, so as to jointly greet a win-win situation through joint development, and inject new momentum and vitality into the development of local areas.
Gao hoped that both parties can strengthen cooperation in such spheres as water resource development and utilization, water environment governance, and ecological environmental protection, and innovate development models, in a bid to achieve mutual benefit and win-win progress.
