CREC4 completes casting first cast-in-place beam for Wuhu project2023-07-11 14:50:46

East China’s Wuhu, sitting on the banks of the Yangtze, is modernizing its roads to better integrate into the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Builders from China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4) cast the first steel beam on-site for the 4.86-kilometer-long fast link project over the city’s Huizhou Road on July 8 in Anhui Province.

The renovated road has a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and includes three interchanges over Wanchun Road, Chizhushan Road, and Shenshan Road. Among them, the total length of the overpass bridge over Shenshan Road is 536.08 meters, and is a key nod in the entire line.

The Huizhou Road upgrading project aims to lift the service capacity of the city, promote a new round of industrial structure adjustment and optimization in Wuhu, and meet the needs of its urban expansion. Upon completion, the project will play a significant role in perfecting the expressway network in the city proper, ease the north-to-south traffic and bolster the economic development in the city’s eastern part.

The CREC4 project department scientifically organized the engineering work and optimized the work plan, in a bid to ensure the work safety, quality and fast progress of the project.
