Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), has paid a visit to the Fuyang branch of CREC4 Materials Industry & Trade Co Ltd, examining its work and offering his guidance.
Zhang Jun, assistant general-manager of CREC4 and director of CREC4 Investment and Development Department, and leaders of CREC4 Materials Industry & Trade Co Ltd accompanied Liu on the tour on June 16 in Fuyang, northwestern Anhui Province.
CREC4 Materials Industry & Trade Co Ltd set up a smart manufacturing and smart logistics base in Fuyang in July 2022, giving full play to the advantages of State-owned enterprises’ resource integration and intelligent manufacturing technology. The base includes a steel structure workshop of 15,580 square meters, as well as a container and bulk cargo yard of 38,000 square meters.
As a key investment project for Fuyang City, the Fuyang branch has a total investment of some 160 million yuan ($22.5 million) on a land area of 130 mu (8.7 hectares), mainly engaging in the sales and leasing of turnbuckle scaffolds, the sales of acoustic tubes, warehousing and container arrival and departure businesses. The factory covers an, 780 meters of special railway lines, 16000 square meters of steel structure workshops, and the annual capacity of turnbuckle scaffolds reaches 60,000 tons.
After touring the relevant facilities, Liu noted that CREC4 Materials Industry & Trade Co Ltd should adhere to a path of industrialization, serialization, and efficiency development in building related manufacturing industry that is based in Fuyang, dedicated to Fuyang, and rooted in Fuyang. It must vigorously develop industrial manufacturing and smart warehousing business, steadily expand business on a large scale and enhance its improve regional influence, so as to become a beautiful business card of CREC4 in northern Anhui, Liu said.
Currently, the base carries the highest intelligent standard in the country in making and delivering steel scaffolding and supporting components for new building materials to clients. Meanwhile, it is also a smart logistics warehousing base focusing on steel products. It integrates warehousing, loading and unloading, transport, distribution, delivery, goods transit, inter-modal transport, freight forwarding, steel trading and information services.
It has been learned that the base is expected to provide more than 200 jobs to residents in Fuyang City each year and creates an industrial output value of 600 million yuan, thus playing a boosting role in helping accelerate the industrialization development of Fuyang and revitalize its real economy.
