Han Yonggang, general manager of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4), has met recently with a group of top business executives in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, enhancing strategic cooperation and reaching a series of key consensus with them.
In a meeting on June 5 with Yang Jicheng, Party secretary and chairman of Henan Water Conservancy Investment Group Co., Ltd, Han noted that while focusing on the transportation infrastructure market centering on “railway, highway and urban rail” and developing urban construction market focusing on “housing and municipal engineering work”, CREC4 has in recent years been expanding the ecological and environmental protection market eyeing water conservancy and environmental protection, as well as exploring the “second-curve” business of water conservancy and hydropower. With the rich construction experiences and sound performance accumulated, CREC4 is willing to participating in the construction of water conservancy infrastructure in Henan, facilitating its high-quality development in water conservancy spheres.

While lauding CREC4’s achievements in its reform and progress, Yang said both parties have broad prospects for bilateral cooperation, and can bolster win-win partnership in such water conservancy services as anti-flooding, water supply and sewage treatment.
In another development, Han met on June 6 with Sun Jing, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd., exploring enhanced bilateral cooperation. Han noted that while ensuring the safe and high-quality construction of ongoing projects in Henan, CREC4 will further leverage its management, technology, and fund advantages throughout the entire industry chain to make positive contributions in facilitating the Zhengzhou’s “⽶-shaped” high-speed railway network into one with multiple centers and extending in various directions.
Sun encouraged CREC4 to take part in more projects in Henan’s key railway construction, hoping both sides can witness wider cooperation in expanded areas, and usher in mutual win-win.
Also on June 6, Han met with Yue Guoyong, Party secretary and chairman of Henan Railway Construction Investment Group (RCIC). Han noted that Henan has broad prospects in its railway construction, and CREC4 will partner with RCIC in such spheres as railway construction and operation, urban development, education and training, in a bid to realize mutual win-win.

Yue stressed that Henan is going to greet a new peak in its railway construction during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), and RCIC is transforming Henan’s HSR from a “single center and radial network” into one with “multi hubs and networked shape,” boosting its hub economic advantages. He hoped both parties can enhance exchanges and cooperation, so as to help speed up the high-quality development of Henan’s railway construction.
