Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd.(CREC4),has conducted a field research in Tianjin at a construction site of CREC4 Third Engineering Co., Ltd, checking theoretical study programunderway throughout CREC4.
Liu kicked off the research work on May 29 to guide the themedstudy programon “bolstering Party building for steering work and promoting CREC4’s integrated development,”which is being carried out throughout CREC4.

Wang Xijun, an official from CREC4’s parent company — China Railway Group Limited(CREC) — who acts as the leader of the First Rotating Guidance Group on the theoretical study program on the study and implementation of the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and Wang’s colleagues Gao Yuanbao and Zhong Shuangyang also took part in the tour work, offering their guidance. Gong Jianyi, deputy general manager of CREC4 as well as chief of CREC4 Beijing, Tianjin and HebeiRegional Operations Command, and officials from relevant departments at CREC4 headquarters and CREC4 Third Engineering Co., Ltd, also participated in the field research work.
While conducting field research at a construction site of CREC4 Third Engineering for building the Binhai West Station project on the morning of May 29, Liu called for improvement in five spheres: consolidating teamwork, better implement of regulations on engineering and management, avoiding various risks, promoting integrated developmentthrough Party building, and focusing on brand building. All these are aimed at strengthening CREC4’s brand and realizing steady progress in all spheres of work, Liu said.

Later in the afternoon, Liu went to conduct field research at the headquarters of CREC4 Third Engineering. After hearing reports from company leaders Wang Aijun and Zhao Enhua, Liu urged for work improvement in four areas. These include bolstering Party building for steering work, building a sound leadership group with the CREC4 Third Engineering, making the company into a “specialized, refined, innovativeand newenterprise”, and enhancing the company’s capabilities in comprehensive control and management to avoid hidden risks and safeguard project quality.

Wang Xijun also put forward three requirements for advancing the work of CREC4. Second, it is vital to put theoretical studyinto daily practices to realize a unity of knowledge and action. The Binhai West Station municipal supporting engineering project is one of the four main passenger hubs of Tianjin’s railway network and a key passenger hub of high-speed railways in Tianjin’s Binhai New Area.
