Han Yonggang, general manager of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4), has met with Wang Hongjun, Party secretary and chairman of Guangdong Provincial Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. (GRCI), conducting friendly talks and reaching broad consensus on further strengthening strategic cooperation.
Han met with Wang on June 1 in Guangzhou, provincial capital of Guangdong, launching in-depth exchanges and reaching consensus on jointly promoting the development of railway construction in Guangdong.
While briefing Wang on CREC4’s overall situation and its construction projects in Guangdong, Han noted that CREC4 has a new positioning of “four chief operators and three core tasks,” calling for consolidating its foundation as a construction contractor, overcoming its weakness through operations in urban investment, building model projects as a comprehensive engineering service provider, and cultivating its advantages as a platform resource integrator. While ensuring safe and high-quality construction of ongoing projects in Guangdong, CREC4 will actively integrate itself into the overall development of railway construction in the province, boosting mutual cooperation and exchanges, and realizing mutual benefit and win-win achievement, Han said.
While welcoming Han and his entourage, Wang also expressed his thanks to CREC4 for its participation in railway construction in Guangdong. With CREC4 operating excellently as a landmark unit of the centrally-administered China Railway Group Limited, both sides have established a deep friendship through long-term cooperation. Wang hoped that CREC4 can continue to play its leading role by safeguarding safe, high-quality and well-managed progress in its projects under construction in Guangdong. He hoped that both parties can jointly aid the high-quality development of Guangdong’s railway construction, through enhanced bilateral cooperation and new innovations in such spheres as resource development along the railway lines, and mine design and operation.
Zhu Xiaoyong, deputy general manager and chief economist of CREC4, as well as chief of CREC4 South China Regional Operations Command, and other leaders from CREC4 South China Regional Operations Command, CREC4 Fifth Engineering Co., Ltd and CREC4 Urban Rail Transit Engineering Branch Co., Ltd also attended the meeting.
