Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4), has met in Hefei of Anhui Province with senior leader of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (CREG), conducting friendly talks.
In a meeting on November 11 with Zhao Hua, CREG chairman and Party secretary, Liu lauded the goodbilateral cooperation mechanism since 2011, which witnessed mutual benefit and win-win achievement, sending both sides into a fast track of sound joint development.
CREG isa worldwide underground solutions provider fora full range of mechanized tunnelling technologyand services. Its scope of works coverstunnel boring machines (TBMs), shaft boring machines, cutting tools and spare parts, and full services to clients from tender stage tothe completion of the tunnels.
Liu noted that at present, CREC4 is equipped with 32 CREG-built TBMs, accounting for 68 percent of its total. Meanwhile, CREC4 has also purchased two sets of rock drilling jumbos from CREG, which will be put into operation soon. Over all these years, CREC4’s CREG-built machines have made outstanding achievements in its tunnel and subway construction, making enormous contributions to CREC4’s production progress, Liu said.
While extending his thanks to CREC4 for its long-term trust and support all these years, Zhao noted that with the full support from the various units of the centrally-administered China Railway Group Limited (CREC), CREG has witnessed steady improvement in its R&D, design and manufacturing capabilities and has now become one of the world’s leading manufacturers. Meanwhile, CREG will also deepen its cooperation with the various CREC units and seek their suggestions, in a bid to constantly perfect its product quality and contribute to their future progress with joint development.
