The Installation Co., Ltd of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4) has received a top award for project construction quality control management, as well as a letter of commendation for completing key tasks with high efficiency and quality.
On November 1, China Construction Industry Association announced that the Jiangxi Regional Management Department of CREC4 Installation Co., Ltd has won the first prize during the national Project Construction Quality Management Competition for the Year 2022.
The association said the top award was given to it due to its quality control achievement — Improving the Approval Rate of Installation of Assembly-type Comprehensive Supports and Hangers — which greatly bolsters the one-time approval rate in installing assembly-type comprehensive supports and hangers.
The achievement, from CREC4 Installation’s March-on QC Group for Nanchang Metro, enabled the builder to raise the qualification rate from 87.6 percent to 96.7 percent.
Previously, the Jiangxi Regional Management Department of CREC4 Installation has won the first prize for the Jiangxi regional competition and the second prize for the national competition for the year 2019, as well as the first prize for the Jiangxi regional competition and the second prize for the national competition for the year 2020.
In another development, the Shenzhen Qiahai Project Department of CREC4 Installation received a letter of commendation on October 31 from Shenzhen Qianhai Construction Investment Holding Group, which praised it for completing key tasks with high efficiency and quality while in helping build the Shenzhen Qianhai Underground Road project.
It has been learned that the underground road is the first modern underground transportation hub in China, with the first phase running for 4.18 kilometers long and and the second phase extending for 3.3 km. As a rare multi-point and super-long entry-exist urban underground road, the road has seen its first phase put into operation on July 9, 2021, with the second phase still under construction.
CREC4 Installation Co., Ltd is chiefly responsible for the construction of ventilation and air conditioning, water supply and drainage and fire protection, tunnel lighting, high and low voltage power supply and distribution, decoration, steel structure, video, traffic and equipment monitoring, wireless communication, fire alarm and traffic facilities of the underground roads.
