CREC4-renovated exits in Jiujiang Railway Station open to public2022-07-05 09:16:02

At zero hour of July 1, all the exits at Jiujiang Railway Station, Jiangxi Province, which were renovated by China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4) after a month-long work, officially opened to the public.

The railway station buildings renovation and upgrading project, undertaken by CREC4 Installation Co., Ltd, was completed in full accordance with the schedule.

Jiujiang Railway Station, located in Lianxi District under Jiujiang City, is a first-class station under the jurisdiction of the Jiujiang Depot of China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is also a key station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway, Wuhan-Jiujiang Railway and Wuhan-Jiujiang High-speed Railway.

As the railway station has a large flow of people, with heavy anti-COVID tasks, there are high safety risks. After scientific organization and well co-ordination with the project owner and the station, the project department decided to prioritize on quickness, so as to promote the construction work in a safe and quick manner.

Since entering the construction site at 12:30 pm on June 30, the project department well handled the exit-guidance work and the renovation work, asking all the subdivisions involved in the renovation project to consolidate a “work safety first” awareness among the participating builders. Guide signs were set up to guide the passengers to walk through the relocated temporary corridors, and logistical support was also provided.

So far, the project department has successfully completed the relocated temporary corridors, decoration on all the exits, as well as mechanical and electrical installations, winning the unanimous affirmation from the project owner and the cooperation partners, and laying a solid foundation for the scheduled completion of the whole project.

It has been learned that the whole renovation and upgrading project, which is designed to be a top-quality gem undertaking, will offer a new face-lift to the station’s infrastructure and overall appearance. It will help the city to boost its image of a famous tourist city and to greet the provincial-wide participants who are to take part in the 16th Provincial Sports Games.
