As part of the Baotou-Haikou Transport Corridor — a main transport channel of the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed rails in the nation’s medium- and long-term railway network plan, the Guiyang-Nanning HSR extends for 481 kilometers, starting at Guiyang North Station and ending at Nanning East Station. It is an HSR enabling trains to run at 350 kilometers per hour in Southwest China.

The CREC4-won No 5 Bid outside railway stations on the Guizhou section of the Guiyang-Nanning HSR has a total length of 39.553 kilometers. The designed CRTS I-type double-block ballastless bed will witness ballastless track extending for 79.106 kilometers on the seamless line.

The Baotou-Haikou Transport Corridor, starting at Baotou City in Inner Mongolia and ending at Haikou City in Hainan Province, extends for some 2,550 kilometers and is linked by some 10 HSR lines with 71-odd stations.

With a total investment of some 420 billion yuan ($63.6 billion), the Baotou-Haikou Corridor is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
