CREC4 inks strategic cooperation agreement with HCIG in Zhejiang2022-06-13 15:05:08

China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4) and Huzhou Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd (HCIG) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 9 in Huzhou City of Zhejiang Province to deepen pragmatic ties.

CREC4 General Manager Han Yonggang, and Lou Qiuhong, Party secretary and chairman of HCIG, presided over the signing ceremony for the agreement, which was signed by CREC4 business manager Geng Jin and HCIG General Manager Huang Weijun.

HCIG, a wholly State-owned enterprise established on November 28, 2005 with a registered capital is 1.8 billion yuan ($272 million), is mainly in charge of investment and financing, development and construction, maintenance and management, as well as asset operations concerning transport infrastructure.

Han and Lou also conducted talks over furthering ties between the two parties.

While welcoming Han and his entourage for their visit to HCIG, Lou also briefed the guests on her group’s progress over the years and the major projects under construction. Noting that CREC4 is a landmark unit of the centrally-administered China Railway Group Limited, she hoped both sides can further their bilateral exchanges for a strong alliance and widen cooperation spheres based on solid existing partnership, so as to contribute to the goal of “prioritizing Huzhou’s position as a city of transport hub and gateway, forging a citywide comprehensive and three-dimensional diverse transport network, integrating into the nation’s transport plan, and linking the city clusters in the Yangtze River Delta region.”

While briefing Lou on CREC4’s overall progress, development orientation and strategic layout, Han also expressed his group’s willingness to deeply participate in building the transport infrastructure in Huzhou. He stressed that on the basis of doing well the cooperative projects under construction, CREC4 will continue enhancing in-depth cooperation with HCIG and actively expand businesses in such spheres as urban-station integration, rail transit and transit-oriented development (TOD). Meanwhile, the two parties can also maintain good cooperative ties in such areas as related basic infrastructure development and auxiliary urban development projects, in a bid to seize opportunities, give full play to each other’s advantages and usher in win-win progress, he said.

According to the agreement, by adhering to a principle of “complementing each other’s advantages, benefit sharing, equal cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win development, integrity and mutual trust, friendly negotiation and joint promotion,” the two sides will continue to expand cooperation in such spheres as project investment, engineering construction and construction equipment. The two parties also aim to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership by jointly elevating the level of cooperation and widening the development potentials.

HCIG Deputy General Manager Ma Jianhua, HCIG Chief Engineer Luo Jie and other officials from HCIG, and leaders of CREC4 East China Regional Operations Command, CREC4 Huangzhou Operations Center and CREC4 Second Engineering Co., Ltd also attended the talks and the signing ceremony.
